December 2021 Honorable Mention

Happy December! The holidays are upon us, the spirit is in full swing and if you're in search for an appetizer to impress guests with at your next soiree, we have just the crispy, crunchy, cheesy, sun dried tomato'ey and luscious dish for you to wow with!

Home chef DonnaMarie Ryan submitted this stellar (wink...they're puff pastry STARS!) culinary creation to our recipe contest and she wins this month's Honorable Mention Prize! YAY Chef DonnaMarie!

We're SO happy any time we receive dishes that have extra creative uses of our sun dried tomatoes...like the sun dried tomato-bacon jam in this dish. The star shapes, the jam, pistachios and the use of goat cheese...a more sophisticated way to go than just cream cheese...make this dish new, better and different than many of the dishes we review.

It's fun to make too! So tie on your apron, preheat the oven and get cookin'!
