June Honorable Mention-Grilled Skirt Steak with Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Maque Choux & Spoon Bread

Summertime living with great meals made easy! It's June and this amazing honorable mention recipe submitted by Chef Barclay Stratton is full of New Orleans “Big Easy” Cajun-Creole flavor! 

The dish consists of smoky grilled melt in your mouth steak  with a crunchy cajun seasoned corn and veggie sauté, it's all tied together by a fluffy spoon bread. The spoon bread was created with a sun dried tomato broth that gave the test kitchen a southern style reminder of polenta. This collection of flavors is perfect for your next summer get-together. A meal that will transport you to New Orleans, and if you are anything like me you won’t want to return home!

Chef Barclay has outdone himself and we enjoyed replicating the culinary work! The dish is a true adventure in itself!
