Sun Dried Tomato Chipotle Flatbread

Overview

Our new sun dried tomato-chipotle sauce onto the flatbread (you can use lavash, or focaccia, or any flatbread, or any bread or that matter), caramelized onions, cheese (you choose if you prefer cotija and/or cheddar to mozz), chicken and a garnish of fresh crisp 'n crunchy greens after it comes out of the oven???!!! Uh...YES PLEASE!!!

Ingredients

  • Bella Sun Luci Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 8.5 oz jar Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Chipotle Sauce
  • 1 yellow onion
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Lavash, or flatbread of your choice
  • Cooked chicken
  • Arugula, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. 
  2. In a medium sized pan, add a tablespoon or two of Bella Sun Luci Extra Virgin Olive Oil, set to a medium heat. 
  3. Chop the onion into slices, and add to the pan. 
  4. Stir onions often so that they do not burn. Once onions have caramelized, set aside. 
  5. Brush Bella Sun Luci Extra Virgin Olive Oil onto the flatbread. 
  6. Next, spread Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Chipotle Sauce. Top with your desired amount of Mozzarella cheese, cooked chicken, and caramelized onions.
  7. Bake at 450 degrees until cheese is melted, or until your desired doneness. 
  8. Garnish with Arugula.
