- 1 lb homemade or premade pizza dough
- ¼ c Bella Sun Luci Sauce Starter Tomato Basil
- 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ c fresh basil leaves
- ¼ c olive oil
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round shape.
- Evenly spread the Bella Sun Luci Sauce Starter Tomato Basil over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, adjusting the amount to your preference. Place three basil leaves on top of the cheese.
- Fold the dough over to cover the sauce and toppings, creating a half-circle shape. Pinch the edges to seal the calzone. Repeat this process until the sauce and toppings are enclosed within the dough.
- Flip the calzone so that the pleated edge is facing downward.
